Darlifra, modern day edition. The Parasites are high school students, and the caretakers are their teacher. Dr. FRANXX is the school principal. Papa and the others are the school directors. But they don't meddle in the students' lives. But he wants their students to be the best in Japan. Because of that, the competition between the students is very tight, to be praised by Papa is the greatest honor.


Squad 13[]

Our main characters. They are in Class 1-3 and currently in the second semester of their first year. They are well-known in the school, albeit for different reasons. They are a group of middle school friends going strong to high school.

(Ignore the birthyear, following + followers count. The characters here have surnames and I used their seiyuu's surnames. Any information of the characters may change.)

Hiro[]

Hiro Uemura (上村陽露) — from his seiyuu, Uemura Yuuto (上村祐翔) + Hiro (陽露 ; 陽 means 'sun' and 露 means 'dew').

Hiro profile

  • The most brilliant student in their generation.
  • The type of student that always ask questions whenever the teacher finished explaining.
  • Usually gets perfect marks in every tests.
  • He is average at sports.
  • In his twitter, he posts inspirational quotes for his friends and followers.
  • On the midterms of the first semester, he got bad marks on almost every subject and the school ridiculed him for a while, but recovered with the help of Zero Two and his friends.
  • His house is near Goro's and Ichigo's, and they are childhood friends.
  • Hiro and Mitsuru are childhood friends too, but Mitsuru moved when they were in middle school.
  • He met Zero Two when they were little but didn't remember.
  • He is in the literature club.


Zero Two[]

Reiji Tomatsu (戸松零二) — from her seiyuu, Tomatsu Haruka (戸松遥) + Reiji (零二 ; 零 meaning 'zero' and 二 meaning 'two').

Zero two profile

  • The transfer student. She transfered to Mistilteinn after midterms test of the first semester.
  • She is very expressive with her love for Hiro.
  • She loves sweets, especially honey.
  • Her twitter posts are basically sweets and her dates with Hiro.
  • Never study whenever there's a test, but surprisingly always passes.
  • Excels at sports.
  • Dislikes her real name and prefers to be called Zero Two.
  • She is infamous for scaring people in 3 seconds of locking eyes, hence the nickname, "3-Second Killer".
  • She is in the art club.

Note: Because "Zero Two" is not an 'appropriate' name for someone, I used the readings of 0 and 2 kanji to make her name. Fun fact, Reiji can also mean 'midnight'. I'm also aware that it's a masculine name, but let's just use it for the sake of this AU.


Goro[]

Goro Umehara (梅原悟朗) — from his seiyuu, Umehara Yuuichirou (梅原裕一郎) + Goro (悟朗 ; 悟 means 'to understand' and 朗 means 'clear', 'bright', 'cheerful').

  • The (soon-to-be) Vice-President of Student Council, with Ichigo as the President.
  • Extremely popular among the students, especially the ladies because of his looks and personality.
  • He excels at studies, never gets a mark below 80.
  • He is good at sports, especially fishing.
  • He is childhood friends with Hiro, Ichigo, Mitsuru.
  • He is in love with Ichigo.
  • He is a member of the fishing club.
  • He reads Hiro's motivational quotes every day.


Ichigo[]

Ichigo Ichinose (市ノ瀬苺) — from her seiyuu, Ichinose Kana (市ノ瀬加那) + Ichigo ( ; meaning 'strawberry').

  • The Student Council President candidate.
  • She can be playful with her friends, but also a very discipline person.
  • She is respected by the students, but some of the students also talked bad behind her back, calling her 'bossy' and 'annoying'.
  • She is also excels at her studies.
  • She is good at sports, especially great at swimming.
  • She is in the swimming club.
  • She loves cat and has one as a pet.
  • She loves stuffed toys.
  • She is childhood friends with Hiro, Goro, Mitsuru.
  • She is in love with Hiro.
  • She always likes and sometimes retweets Hiro's quotes.


Zorome[]

Zorome Tamura (田村揃目) — from his seiyuu, Tamura Mutsumi (田村睦心) + Zorome (揃目 ; 揃 means 'to gather', 'to assemble' and 目 means 'eye', 'viewpoint').

  • Member of the soccer club.
  • He does poorly at academic studies but good at sports.
  • Always bickering with Miku but cares deeply for her the most.
  • Initially hostile and jealous towards Hiro because of his academic excellence, he warmed up to Hiro when Hiro patiently helped him to pass the entrance exam to Mistilteinn.
  • Close friends with Futoshi.
  • Openly admires girls, and he often tells Kokoro that she is cute, but never pursue a relationship with her, nor with anyone.
  • It's because he likes Miku but won't admit it.
  • He is the type of student who always says, "I can't wait to go to college" and "I can't wait to work and become an adult!"


Miku[]

Miku Yamashita (山下美久) — from her seiyuu, Yamashita Nanami (山下七海) + Miku (美久 ; 美 means 'beautiful' and 久 means 'for a long time').

  • The type of student who always post everything to social media.
  • She is very popular on social media because of her cute selfies.
  • She always checks her astrological sign report (Aries).
  • Always bickering with Zorome but cares deeply for him the most.
  • She is childhood friends with Kokoro and their house are near.
  • Secretly envies Ichigo because of Ichigo's respected reputation and Miku feels inferior to her, but later this feeling disappears.
  • She is average in academics and kinda good in sports.
  • Openly admires boys and even praises the boys of her own circle (except Zorome), but never a pursue relationship with one.
  • It's because she is secretly waiting for Zorome to confess to her.
  • She is in the beauty club, where they practice makeup. Beauty club is the club who's responsible for the teachers' or students' makeup for special events.

Note: Well in some anime, there are a few "unordinary" clubs. So why not make a beauty club? The school (kinda) benefits from it, too.


Mitsuru[]

Mitsuru Ichikawa (市川満) — from his seiyuu, Ichikawa Aoi (市川蒼) + Mitsuru ( ; meaning 'fullness').

  • He wants to surpass Hiro.
  • Ichigo secretly wants him to be the Secretary of the Student Council.
  • He is known for his cold and aloof nature, some of the girl students are interested in him because of that.
  • He does well in academics, on par with Hiro and Goro, but average in sports.
  • He has a not-so-strong constitution.
  • He is childhood friends with Hiro, Goro and Ichigo. The four of them used to play together because their house are near, but in middle school Mitsuru moved to different neighborhood and now his house is near Ikuno's.
  • He is bitter towards Hiro for breaking their childhood promise.
  • He is a member of the classical music club, where he plays the violin.
  • In his free time, he helps Kokoro to take care of the flowers.
  • Rarely opens his social media.
  • Besides classical music, his hobby is reading.


Kokoro[]

Kokoro Hayami (早見心) — from her seiyuu, Hayami Saori (早見沙織) + Kokoro ( ; meaning 'heart').

  • The 'Madonna-like' existence of Mistilteinn. She is extremely popular, especially among the boy students.
  • She is warm, friendly and full of compassion to everyone.
  • She doesn't like conflicts, so she always go along with what other people say. She is aware of this and trying to change herself to be more open with her feelings.
  • She is childhood friends with Miku and their house are near.
  • She is average at academics and sports.
  • She harbors feelings for Mitsuru.
  • She is a member of the gardening club. The gardening club only has a few members so she is very grateful (and happy) when Mitsuru helps her out in his free time.
  • Sometimes a few boy students come to the gardening club just to see and chat with her, but she always misunderstands it as they want to join and is sad when they don't.
  • She is shy to talk about her feelings when the girls are having a girls talk, but enjoys listening to her friends' stories.
  • Her family owns a flower shop.
  • She always likes her friends' posts (if it's a positive one) if they shows up in her timeline.

Futoshi Gotou (後藤太志) — from his seiyuu, Gotou Hiroki (後藤ヒロキ) + Futoshi (太志 ; 太 meaning 'thick' and 志 meaning 'will', 'motive').

  • He is excellent at home economics class.
  • Average at academics, but if he tries hard, he could be on par with his excellent friends.
  • Average at sports.
  • He is close with Zorome.
  • He is infatuated with Kokoro.
  • Same as Zorome, he admires girls but set his heart on Kokoro.
  • His friends love his bread, especially Zero Two.


Ikuno[]

Ikuno Ishigami (石上行野) — from her seiyuu, Ishigami Shizuka (石上静香) + Ikuno (行野 ; 行 meaning 'to do', 'to go' and 野 meaning 'field').

  • A member of the Discplinary Committee.
  • Along with Hiro, she is a member of the literature club.
  • She is very good at academics, but not too good at sports.
  • She has feelings for Ichigo, but struggling on how to confess to her.
  • Her house is near Mitsuru's, and their parents are friends. Ikuno and Mitsuru do care and consider each other friends but didn't have a warm relationship. This will change later on.


Teachers[]

Teachers of Mistilteinn Academy. They may seem strict but inside, they really care about their students.

Nana[]

Nana Inoue (井上七) — from her seiyuu, Inoue Marina (井上麻里奈) + Nana ( ; 七 meaning 'seven').

  • Class 1-3's homeroom teacher.
  • She is also a biology teacher.
  • She is liked by her students because of her caring nature towards them.
  • But she is strict when it comes to grades and students' behavior in class.
  • She prefers her students to call her "Nana-sensei" instead of using her surname.


Hachi[]

Hachi Konishi (小西八) — from his seiyuu, Konishi Katsuyuki (小西克幸) + Hachi ( ; 八 meaning 'eight')

  • The math teacher.
  • The students (kinda) fear him because of his harsh learning style.
  • Just like Nana, he prefers his students call him by his given name.
  • He is stoic and rarely display any emotions.
  • He harbors feelings for Nana, but he himself isn't aware of his own feelings.
  • Every teacher knows about his feelings, but Nana herself isn't.

Nana[]

Nana Itou (伊藤七) — from her seiyuu, Itou Shizuka (伊藤静) + Nana ( ; 七 meaning 'seven')

  • The history teacher.
  • Very strict on grading, everything must be according to what she said on class or book, or else it's a minus point.
  • The students are confused because she has the same name as Nana Inoue, so they differentiate them with calling their surnames. But, because the students are very comfortable with calling their homeroom teacher "Nana-sensei" so they call Nana Itou with her surname.
  • She doesn't seem to care about her students, she only cares about teaching them the "right" way.
  • Initially cold and doesn't have any empathy, she finally realize the ways of her error later, and she softens up and starts to care about them.


Werner Frank[]

(ヴェルナー・フランク).

  • The principal of Mistilteinn Academy.
  • He teaches physics.
  • Zero Two's grandfather figure.
  • He picks up Zero Two and her older sister when they were little and abandoned.
  • Zero Two does appreciate him, while her older sister doesn't and leaves him (them).
  • He likes to observe the behavior of his students.


Papa[]

  • The director of the school.
  • He has the power over the entire school.
  • He wants his students to be the best in Japan, no matter what.
  • No one knows his true identity.


9's[]

A group of people who think of themselves as elite people. Zero Two used to be friends with them in elementary school, but they dislike each other. When they meet in Mistilteinn, they are hostile towards each other. The 9's called each other by Greek alphabets instead of their actual name. 9's means they are born in the 9th month, September. Zero Two is an exception to this.

Note: I know their names are weird, but just pretend they are normal people and have normal Japanese names ^^

Alpha[]

Hajime Soma (斉藤一) — from his seiyuu, Soma Saito (斉藤壮馬) + Hajime ( ; 一 meaning 'one').

  • The leader of the 9's.
  • He is in class 1-1.
  • He is very popular with the ladies.
  • He has a sharp tongue.
  • He doesn't really care for anyone, but knows every gossip in the school.
  • That's because he is in the broadcasting club, where the club members love to gossip.
  • 'Bullying' Zero Two and her friends are fun to him.
  • He also has excellent grades, but average at sports.
  • He wants to be Student Council President with Delta as his partner.


Beta[]

Niko Masuda (増田二虎) — from his seiyuu, Masuda Toshiki (増田俊樹) + Niko (二虎 ; 二 meaning 'two' and 虎 meaning 'tiger').

  • He is in class 1-1.
  • Like Alpha, he is also popular among the ladies.
  • He is also have excellent grades but average at sports.
  • He is calm and usually doesn't say much.
  • He is very picky.
  • He cares about how he appears in public.
  • He is a narcissist.
  • He is in the flower arrangement club.


Gamma[]

Satoshi Eguchi (江口三敏) — from his seiyuu, Eguchi Takuya (江口拓也) + Satoshi (三敏 ; 三 meaning 'three' and 敏 meaning 'clever', 'agile').

  • He is in class 1-1.
  • He is very popular with the ladies and a playboy.
  • He is excellent at sports, but a bit bad at academic grades.
  • He can get good grades if he bothered to study.
  • He is very self-confident.
  • He bickers a lot with Delta.
  • He is in the band club.


Delta[]

Yotsuha Sakura (佐倉四葉) — from her seiyuu, Sakura Ayane (佐倉綾音) + Yotsuha (四葉 ; 四 meaning 'four' and 葉 meaning 'leaf').

  • She is in class 1-1.
  • She is in the broadcasting club.
  • She and Alpha plan to run for Student Council President Election, with Alpha as the President and Delta as Vice-President.
  • She has average grades and is actually great at sports if she wanted to.
  • She bickers a lot with Gamma.
  • She is close with Epsilon, and they have known each other since before the 9's are formed in elementary school.
  • Her house is close with Epsilon's.


Epsilon[]

Itsuki Tamaru (田丸五喜) — from his seiyuu, Tamaru Atsushi (田丸篤志,) + Itsuki (五喜 ; 五 meaning 'five' and 喜 meaning 'joy').

  • He is in class 1-1.
  • He is in calligraphy club.
  • Like his guy friends, he is popular with the ladies.
  • He is excellent at his academic grades and kinda bad at sports.
  • He is very close with Delta, and their house are near.

Naomi[]

Naomi Koshimizu (小清水菜緒美) — from her seiyuu, Koshimizu Ami (小清水亜美,) + Naomi (菜緒美 ; 菜 meaning 'vegetables', 緒 meaning 'string' and 美 meaning 'beauty').

  • She is a part of Squad 13 when they were in middle school. But she moved to Hokkaido, thus attending a school there.
  • She is a calm and gentle girl.
  • She actually wanted to be with her friends, but because of her father's work, they have to move to Hokkaido for a while.


001 Princess[]

Kazuki Kugimiya (釘宮一姫) — from her seiyuu, Kugimiya Rie (釘宮理恵,) + Kazuki (一姫 ; 一 meaning 'one' and 姫 meaning 'princess').

  • She is Zero Two's 'older sister', altough they are only adoptive grandchildren of Dr. Frank.
  • She absolutely dislikes being associated with them, hence she doesn't want to have the same surname as them.
  • She cut ties with Dr. Frank and Zero Two after she graduate from college.
  • She doesn't contact them until now. But both Zero Two and Dr. Frank don't seem to care either.
