Synopsis
While walking along the beach, Hiro and Ichigo talk about the stars and Ichigo kisses Hiro as a gesture that he is special to her. APE discusses Hiro’s abilities, as he and Squad 13 Are tasked with escorting Zero Two to Gran Crevasse. During a sortie against a Gutenberg class Klaxosaur, Delphinium is absorbed along with Ichigo after she ejects Goro to protect him. Although she intends to fight the klaxosaur on her own in stampede mode, the squad leads a rescue mission to save her. Goro starts to question the depth of his feelings for Ichigo and how she has only had eyes for Hiro since childhood. Upon reaching Delphinium inside the Klaxosaur, Ichigo and Goro reconnect and kill the Klaxosaur. Goro then confesses to Ichigo that he loves her but doesn’t expect a response. Shortly after, the 9's are dispatched to the Gran Crevasse to fight 001, the Klaxosaur Princess.
