This is the twenty-second chapter of DARLING in the FRANXX.
Plot[]
The Gutenberg klaxosaur punches through the ground where Squad 26 is standing. Although they survive the impact, the magma energy of the units runs out. Strelizia charges at the klaxosaur and Hiro says they need to lure it away from the plantation because it is heading for the magma energy. Hiro suddenly feels pain from the tumor and Strelizia momentarily stops moving but Hiro says he can keep fighting. Goro demands why he is here and Hiro says he came to help everyone. Genista, Chlorophytum and Argentea are pinned down and Delphinium is called in for back up. Hiro says he will use Strelizia to crush the klaxosaur’s core but Goro tells Hiro his body won’t be able to handle it. Ichigo reluctantly tells Goro to let Strelizia handle this because protecting the plantation is their top priority. Goro tells Hiro to kill it with one strike. Hiro agrees and Strelizia charges at the klaxosaur.
