This is the eighteenth chapter of DARLING in the FRANXX.

Plot

Chlorophytum fires bullets at the klaxosaur and Argentea tried to attack it but it dodges Argentea which accidentally collides with Chlorophytum. Genista is unable to keep with a klaxosaur’s speed and is almost crushed before Delphinium saves Genista. Miku and Zorome say Argentea is a fast FRANXX and Ichigo orders Mitsuru to provide them support from a distance but he worries he can’t move that fast like Strelizia can. Code 090 mentions Squad 13 is different in many ways, including how they call each other by names and it was Hiro who started it. Ichigo asks if he knows who Hiro is. Code 090 says Hiro is famous among other codes and he wanted to see him but is disappointed Hiro is not part of the operation. As Delphinium fights with a klaxosaur, Code 090 wonders why Hiro and Ichigo, parasites with code numbers in the teens, were thrown together in a makeshift team.

Hiro asks Nana about the rumours of Zero Two killing her partners. Nana says from now on, Zero Two is going to fight in the front lines because she is a special pistil and when she connects with a stamen, it is incredibly taxing on them. Hiro realizes that this means Zero Two is not human. As Zero Two is being led away, Hiro remembers his previous encounters and decides to go search for her. Alpha sees him run on the screen while in his FRANXX and notes how Hiro is a troublesome one, and Alpha has extra work to do.
