This is the tenth chapter of DARLING in the FRANXX.

Plot

Hiro hesitates to activate Strelizia and Zero Two asks him what’s wrong. He wonders if he can do it and she says there will be no problems with them. They successfully activate Strelizia and head the battle scene. In the meeting room, Mitsuru asks Nana if HQ gave her permission to send Hiro out. She explains it was a strategic decision because they weren’t sure how Mitsuru would come unscathed from piloting Strelizia and if something went wrong, they would lose all military power to protect the plantation, and Hiro has been uneffected from piloting Strelizia. Mitsuru reminds her that Hiro couldn't pilot Delphinium. She says that’s why they want to use this to understand Hiro’s value as a parasite. Mitsuru is angry and doesn’t understand why Hiro has high expectations.

Ichigo wants to know who is piloting Strelizia and Goro tells her the FRANXX is getting heavy before it falls over. Genista and Argentea are attacked by klaxosaurs. Goro orders everyone to retreat to the central area but they find it difficult because of the number of klaxosaurs. Ichigo regrets thinking about unnecessary things and questions her worthiness as a leader. Strelizia arrives and quickly begins destroying the klaxosaurs. Hiro asks if everyone is alright and they are shocked that he is piloting it. Strelizia proceeds to kill all the klaxosaurs with ease. Hiro is amazed he is piloting and Zero Two decides she wants more of his taste.
