This is the seventh chapter of DARLING in the FRANXX.

Plot

Zero Two is eager to pilot Strelizia with Hiro and head to the battlefield but Hiro says they need clearance to join. Zero Two brushes this off and enters a corridor that Hiro says children are restricted from. Zero Two shows she has an S Class pass and suggests they slide through together, and they are able to get through.

In the FRANXX lounge, Goro sees Hiro didn’t come and tells Ichigo to focus as the leader, and they encourage each other to their best. All the parasites board their FRANXX and Hachi orders the connection sequence to start. Genista, Argentea and Delphinium are activated but Chlorophytum‘s paracapacity is unstable. Ikuno asks to give her more time but Mitsuru says not to bother.

Hiro is amazed to see the city the adults live in. Zero Two says they will take the emergency elevator to the hanger because the internal layouts are similar in all the plantations. She sees nothing special about the city but Hiro says this is the first time he’s seen it. She notices he is staring at her and he says he is thinking of a name for her because he’s good at names. She likes her name and Hiro asks if it’s boring being called by her code number. She says it doesn’t matter what they’re called when they die. They are found by Nana and two officers, and Nana tells Zero Two not to go off on her own. Nana reports she found Zero Two while Hachi reports Chlorophytum can’t activate and will stay behind. The three other FRANXX proceed with the mission with caution.
